		Why attend Tsunami? Read This.

		Our youth group does a lot of things. The biggest thing we do every winter is called Tsunami. Tsunami is a statewide youth conference where about 5000 teenagers will gather for 3 days and three nights and rock out for Jesus. We are always glad to have people go to Magic Mountain, Snow Camp, and other things, but Tsunami is something we want EVERYBODY to go to. In other words, check with mom or dad, and get this on your calender. Tsunami will be in Anaheim. (next to Disneyland) It involves a lot of neat times of worship, some teaching, some concerts, some elective time, and lots of fast food and fun. We will be staying in a hotel (Hilton or Raddisson) next door to the conference. Tsunami will begin December 29 (the Monday after Christmas) and will end on new year’s day. We will celebrate new year’s eve itself at Knott’s Berry Farm, where a bunch of the biggest Christian singers do concerts. (Plus the rides, fireworks, etc.) The bad news: Tsunami will cost $100 plus food money. If you wait until the day after Christmas to ask your parents, they probably won’t let you go. The good news: you have two months to prepare, and we are doing 3 car washes November 8, November 22, and December 6. Each one will be worth at least $20 per worker. So check with mom and dad right away, and work some car washes. NO ONE HAS EVER NOT GONE BECAUSE OF $$$. As youth pastor, I really want you (all of you) to go to this event. I mean, really, really, really. This is not just another Magic Mountain trip. It is much much more. Please call me, or have mom or dad call me, for any questions.
